Dr. Rolando Garcia, M.D., was born and raised in Holguin, Cuba. He earned his medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba. Following graduation, he completed his Anesthesiology residency program at the University Hospital in Holguin, Cuba. He later moved to the USA, where he completed his Pediatric residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, NV.

Founded in 2012 by Dr. Garcia, BigBend Pediatric Care, LLC, was established to provide the highest quality pediatric care for young patients in the South Tampa area. BigBend Pediatric Care is still owned and led by Dr. Rolando Garcia today, who has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. He proudly serves families in South Tampa as a dedicated pediatrician, always aiming to provide the highest quality of care while building strong relationships and trust with his patients and their families.

Dr. Garcia is married to Elizabeth, who has been his office manager since 2012, and together they have three wonderful children. Outside the office, Dr. Garcia enjoys cooking and traveling the world with his family.
